I fussy-cut my poinsettias out of designer paper and used corduroy buttons in the place of the center florets. I did another similar version, using gold balls in the center. You can see that pic and some close-ups on my blog, Dietrich Designs
Thanks so much for looking!
PT: just one, but doesn't the fussy cutting count for something??

Hmmm...I think that fussy cutting can be allowed toward points this time. LOL Very pretty poinsettia, and especially having that houndstooth I love so much. Great card, Colleen!

I say YES on the fussy cutting question!! It takes SOooooo much time. I rarely have the patience for it (and when I do, I always feel like I should have done SOoooooo much better), so when I see it done, I'm always impressed. LOVE those corduroy buttons

Fussy cutting sure does count on this one and I give you extra, extra credit for using the corduroy buttons. I LOVE corduroy buttons and SU stopped selling them. I hoarded a few extras b/f they stopped making them, but afraid to use them cuz when I'm out, I'm out. Hey, you could send me this card and if I get desperate I can take your off and use them for my cards. Now, that's about as low as you can get, isn't it? I asked Da Benz for a holiday card she made cuz I want to take the gold sprig off and use it. Man, am I cheap and tacky or what? You don't have to answer that. You really did an incredible job on this holiday card!! TFS! P.S. Love your dsp too.
